Cabinet France Rococo Revival after Louis XV (1820-1860s) Mahogany veneer, brass decoration Half round body, having pierced ormolu gallery with swag and tassel decoration, broken at front of gallery; bowfront caninet with three glass panels and painted base panels, center panel opens to reveal two glass shelves over silk covered shelf over silk covered base which is hidden behind painted panel; with shaped front apron on slight ogee legs with ormolu decoration; base painted with "Watteauesque" pastoral scenes; interior wood cabinet unfinished, original fabric appears to be only on base of cabinet
