frame house was moved by the Preservation Society of Charleston from 53 George Street to make way for a new city parking garage. (A new garage and retail stores replaced the original garage in
the early 2000s.) (Tour Guide Manual, 2011)
File contains mention of the Preservation Society's purchase of the house, with a photograph (Preservation Progress, May 1979).
