Original structure may date to early 19th century; extant architectural evidence dates to the fourth quarter of the 19th century. A three-story, gable roof single house clad in lapped wood siding and a standing-seam metal roof, with a 2-story south-side piazza and a fairly high continuous brick foundation.
Three files contain documentation of the easement on the property including related correspondence; Part I certification (National Register); IRS form 8283; annual inspection reports; house history (physical description and statement of significance from Part I application); photocopies of Sanborn maps.
The files may eventually contain additional annual inspection reports; requests for alterations; correspondence related to the management of the property; etc. See Easement Manager's working files for more information.
