Two sets of B&W negatives featuring views of McLeod Plantation:
a (31 negatives): Views of slave cabins. Includes exterior and interior views. Six photographs feature a girl at play in front of one of the cabins. Presumably she resided there with her family.
b (20 negatives): Varous views of the McLeod Plantation main house.

Prints are stamped Smithsonian Institution. Karen Emmons contacted the SI photo archivist (see Media tab) to inquire about the provenance of the photographs. SI archivist had no record of the photos and stated that it was likely that the film was copied from a non-SI source for reference/research purposes. Gave authority to HCF to handle any requests to reproduce.
