From: Kevin R. Eberle Sent: Thursday, August 21, 2014 9:35 AM To: Emmons, Karen Subject: RE: New Addition to Lowcountry Digital Library I have a photo I need to drop off. There was a fellow who had taken apart a serviceman's photo album and was selling the photos off on eBay. They weren't dated, but all of the photos seem to have been taken in the 1920s or 1930s. Most of them were shots of military installations and camps and weapons. But, for no particular reason, there was a great shot of the Russell House. I have no explanation for it. I got in touch with the seller, and he said he'd just give the photo to me! It's about 3x5 inches and is a really nice photo of the house looking sort of northwesterly at the front. The photo seems to have been taken about the same time as the shot of the house in this new Lowcountry Digital Library collection. Same fence. Same size of the identifiable trees. Same brick street.
