Mahogany with brass bulls
Charleston Made Mahogany Chest on Chest with Original Brass Pulls and Estucheons in Chinese Chippendale Style. Circa 1770. Top Molding with Dentils and Fluting. Front Sides Have Canted Corners with Stopped Fluting. Top Section Has Three Small Drawers, a Row of Two Drawers and Three Large Drawers. the Lower Section Has Three Very Large Drawers. Bottom of Chest Has Triple Skirt Molding and Ogee Bracket Feet. Numerous Small Repairs Throughout. Cypress Secondary Wood. Bottom Drawer Missing Escutheons and Pulls.Collection
