Volume 6 of a 6-volume directory of Charleston streets, houses, and buildings, based on research from City Directories. Organized by street and then alpha-numerically by address. Each street section includes a brief history of the street itself; each address includes a history of ownership of the property. Intended to be a resource for the start of research; the information is not conclusive and may even sometimes be inaccurate by the authors' own admission. Volume VI contains King Street in the twentieth century.
