Interview of Fred Willis who moved into the Mazyck-Wraggborough neighborhood in the 1990s. Previously, he lived in Summerville and Sullivans Island. Mr. Willis describes his experience with Hurricane Hugo on Sullivans Island. He also describes the neighborhood of Mazyck-Wraggborough as it was when he first moved there compared to what it is like now. Mr. Willis was the president of the neighborhood association for several years and continues to be involved in neighborhood advocacy. Mr. Willis also describes some of the work he did during the rehabilitation of his house on Charlotte Street.
