Constructed ca. 1804 by John Gibbs, located on the northwest section of the peninsula overlooking the Ashely River. Also known as Devereux House, one of the only two historic plantations houses on the peninsula.

File contains letter from Jonathan Poston to Charles Chase (City of Charleston) about HCF's concerns about the conditions of the Sans Souci plantation house (1990); letter from Hasell Rivers to "Pat" about an effort to protect the property from a proposed freeway 91976); newspaper articles; illustrated page from a 1902 calendar sent to Poston by Bob Rymer with a note about the issuance of a dock permit (undated).
