On March 31, 2021, the Archivist for the Citadel Archives was asked for permission to allow HCF to reproduce the photographs identified above for a patron. She was unable to locate the photographs or any information about them in the Citadel Archives aerial photograph collection. However, the source of the images clearly recalls they were from the Citadel Archives. Therefore, for use of either photo, the credit/attribution for each photograph should be as follows: "Aerial View of the Citadel Campus, Citadel Archives photograph, [date], courtesy of Historic Charleston Foundation Archives."
