Constructed ca. 1748. The three-story single house at 25 Tradd Street has long been considered a survivor of the fire and original to 1748, when it was built by Maj. William Boone. The property, along with adjacent sites on Longitude Lane, became part of the holdings in this area of Nathaniel and Sarah Hopton Russell, and was owned by their descendants until the Civil War.
