Description

Part of set, 6 plates, a Flight, Barr, and Barr 'Japan' pattern service, circa 1815, comprising six circular plates, each piece painted in iron-red, green, blue, shades of pink and gold with a pheasant, a budding branch near a pierced rock, the rim with gilt bands on the inner and outer edge. Stamped on underside with various impressed crowned F.B.B. marks and Flight, Barr & Barr, etc. The dinner service of Thomas Lowndes.
