Scope and Content

Two-sided poster that illustrates architectural styles by time period using drawings of Charleston buildings as examples. Styles range from 1690-1915: Colonial, Georgian, Federal, Classical Revival, Gothic Revival, Italianate, Victorian, and Art Deco. Side 1: For each style, one Charleston building is presented along with a guide to architectural details. Side 2: For each style, several Charleston buildings are presented as examples. "A cooperative education project by the Historic Charleston Foundation and Drayton Hall, a property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation."
