Description

Pair sweetmeat dishes, circular with shell and 'C'-scroll handles. From partial dessert set, Davenport, 19th century, each having gilt gadrooned border embracing wide caramel and gilt scroll and flower overlay decoration, with bottom decorated with bouquet of flowers, Stamped on underside anchor and Davemport.
