The object of the survey was to create an inventory of structures in Charleston and vicinity that are at risk by neglect, decay, or development, and to protect these vulnerable buildings and monuments and set priorities for their future care. Each survey sheet contains the address and/or name of the building, priority ranking, condition (stage of decay), ownership category, a summary description, and photograph. (Photographs of SOB and Harleston Village houses filed by street address in property photo file cabinets; Mt. Pleasant photos filed under Mt. Pleasant.)
