Scope and Content

Constructed ca. 1793-1796. A three-story stucco-over-brick dwelling in the classic single-house form, with a hipped standing seam metal roof and a two-story piazza on the west side. Three files contain documentation of the easement on the property including related correspondence and Confirmation of Understanding; Part I certification (National Register); documentation related to the sale of the property; annual inspection reports, requests for alterations, and correspondence related to the management of the property; FOHG house and garden history (2007); magazine article about the garden (source and date not indicated); historical research narrative and notes (Albee, 2001); photocopies of maps and plats.
