Scope and Content

Constructed ca. 1883-84. This 2½ story frame house was built by John Kenny. Joseph Thompson is listed in the 1885 City Directory at this address. The house is rich in Queen Anne detailing, including 2-story bay windows and an Italianate style entry. (Poston, Buildings of Charleston.) File contains FOHG house histories (1997, 2003, 2006 draft).
