TRAPMAN.008-12.1Scope and Content
Constructed 1870-1880. Dr. H.H. Kellers constructed the interesting group of two-story single houses at 6-12 Trapman Street as tenements between 1870 and 1880. 8 and 12 Trapman are single houses with gable-ended front facades, while 6 and 10 Trapman are nearly identical flat roofed single houses. 6, 20, and 12 Trapman were enlarged in the early-20th century with L-shaped additions. 8 and 10 Trapman retained their square-columned piazzas. The building at 12 Trapman has a more sophisticated closed-gable front and Tuscan-columned piazza.
