VENDUE.001.1Scope and Content
One of the buildings that was part of a row of warehouses and commercial businesses that were on the site by 1817. Constructed of brick with a brick gable, raking parapet, and probably dormers in the attic story and chimneys along the ridgeline. (Shealy memo)

File contains historical research memorandum (Shealy, 1986); historical chain-of-title research notes and photocopy of 1817 deed; photocopy of ca. 1882 plat; newspaper articles about the plans to demolish the building and construct a hotel complex called Concord Walk (1981-1992); correspondence and other documentation related to the proposed demolition of the building and construction of new hotel complex; poster advertisement for One Vendue Range residential complex.
