Constructed mid-19th century. One of three houses that survives on this street. Wall Street stretched to Calhoun Street prior to it being cleared for the construction of the Gaillard Auditorium. One Wall Street (54 Laurens Street), is a wooden side-passage-plan house built in the mid-nineteenth century, with a later barrel-vaulted entry.
File contains newspaper article about the delay in a decision about whether to demolish the building (1973?); condition survey by City Engineer (1973.
