HOUSE HISTORY BEING REVISED - CONFLICTING DATES/ATTRIBUTION - CURRENT HOUSE PROBABLY LATE 1880s/1890 - QUIGLEY HOUSE.
Constructed ca. late 1860s. The original house on this property was built by William Izard Bull who, in the 1850s, owned Ashley Hall Plantation. The original three-story brick house, similar in design to the Pinckney House on Greenhill Street, was destroyed in the great fire of 1861. Some time later, probably in the 1860s, this three-story frame house was constructed by Mr. Bull.
File contains **FOHG house history (2006)**; maps (timeline research); 1886 Earthquake Damage Assessment Survey.
