Description

Wedding veil 1810 Lace with embroidery Belonged to Alicia Hopton Russell at her marriage to Arthur Middleton English lace veil with uniform ground of embroidered sprigs, top has straight edge with other edges scalloped. Bottom edge is thickly embroidered with bunches of flowers. Veil is in stable condition. Uniformly yellowed with age with darker brown discolored spots throughout.
