The only remaining houses on the alley which once held at least five. 6 Payne Court is a two-story single house with a one-story piazza on the west facade, and one-story back attachment. Piazza is enclosed by a balustrade of simple pickets and supported by round Doric columns. (6 Payne Court is vacant.) 7 Payne Court is a two-story single house with a one-story piazza on the south side and one-story back attachment. Piazza is screened in. Front gabled roof enclosed by asphalt shingles, with one chimney situated at the east end of the house.
File contains graduate student report (Lindsay Lanois, 2012) on the history of the houses, which includes historical and chain-of-title research, maps, photos, and other supporting documentation.
