An "ABCD" type of city directory, divided into five sections:
1. Buyers' Guide and Civic Section: Made up of the advertisements of the leading business firms of the city, announcements of churches, clubs, lodges, associations and schools, and professional cards of lawyers, physicians and dentists, indexed under headings which are descriptive of the business engaged in by each firm.
2. Resident Directory: Contains most of the data concerning the individual. Wife's name is given in parenthesis and the number of dependents is shown as well as the ownership of homes. This is followed by position, place of employment, and home address.
3. Householders' Directory: Contains a complete directory of streets and avenues and gives the names of all houseolders arranged as they come upon the streets and avenues, and indicates ownership of the property.
4. Business Directory and List of nationally Advertised Brands: Contains the names of all business firms, professional people, and nonproit organizations, properly classified. Also lists names of antionally advertised brands of merchandise, with the name of local agents or distributors.
5. Numerical Telephone Directory: Contains telephone numbers arranged in numerical sequence.
Also includes section called "Colored Resident Directory."
