WENTWORTH.032.1

Scope and Content

Constructed ca. 1843. William Thompson acquired three lots facing Anson Street and built four masonry single houses, including 32 Wentworth street, following the Ansonborough fire of 1838. HCF purchased the property in September 1962 and placed restrictive covenants on it when it was sold in April 1963. A protective easement was donated in 2013. Three files contain documentation and correspondence related to the covenant on the property; documentation of HCF's purchase of the property; annual inspection reports, requests for alterations, and correspondence related to the management of the property; documentation related to a covenant violation; archaeology report; FOHG house histories (1993, 1996, 2001); chain-of-title research information; copy of HCF easement/covenant information card (TMS number, year of construction, residents pre-post HCF purchase, deed restrictions, measurements, and tax information); photocopy of realtor's information card (with photograph). Files will eventually contain documentation of the easement on the property. See Covenant/Easement Inspection Photo Files and Easement Manager's digital files for inspection photography. No easement donation photographs on file (Exh. B to Deed of Conservation Easement).
