Constructed circa 1838; restored 1970s. Russell Warren, architect. File contains newspaper articles (including 1970 and 1984 DYKYC); building history from Information for Guides of Historic Charleston (1984); building history from Tour Guide Training Manual (2011); excerpt from Architects of Charleston; draft FOHG House history (2001); house tour notes (unattributed, undated); 1886 Earthquake damage assessment; Hurricane Hugo damage survey (main house and carriage house).
