House may soon be rehabilitated (in 2014) through HCF's Neighborhood Impact Initiative (Revolving Fund) in partnership with the City of Charleston.
File contains house history and research materials including chain-of-title (1901-1979) and supporting documentation, annotated floor plans, building permits for 218 and other Romney Street properties, annotated 1965 plat, 1944 and 1951 Sanborn maps, research notes, history of Romney Street, 1930 Census and City Directory pages related to the Schneider family (Kayla Halberg, HCF summer intern, 2014).
