47 King Street and 47½ King StreetEntry/Object ID
KING.047.1Scope and Content
Constructed in 1930 as a multi-family tenement by Grace Whaley. It is a non-rated structure as defined by the architectural inventory rating system. The property was legally subdivided into 2 lots in the 1990s (47 and 47½ have separate parcel ID numbers). The structure was significantly modified in 1989. The front entry and surround was replaced with the existing open portico; an original apartment entryway on the southeast facade was removed; and interior first and second floor walls were replaced.
File contains historical research report (Meadors, 2014?) on the history of the both properties, including historical/chain-of-title research, maps, photos, and other supporting documentation.
