Bill of Sale of a "Negro wench named Lucky about thirty five years old of Black complexion," sold for $375.00 by Mary S. Jenkins to J.L. Ross, dated June 14, 1833. On verso is documentation of Lucky's transfer from J.L. Ross to James Legare on June 17, 1833. Transferred to SC Historical Society (via Mary Jo Fairchild).
