Two reprints of original photographs of the Gabriel Manigault House, located at the northwest corner of Meeting and George Streets (290 Meeting, a/k/a 288 Meeting):
a: View of the east elevation, with "For Sale" sign posted in front of the door. Street corner also in view. Car parked on street in front of house.
b: Street view from the corner of Meeting and George featuring the south and east elevations of the house and buildings to the north. "For Sale" sign posted in front of the door. Cars parked on the street.
The house was purchased by Standard Oil Company and demolished shortly after this image was taken to make way for an Esso Service Station. Original photographs dated April 1930, and are in the photograph collection of the Charleston Museum Archives.Collection
