MURPHY.005-7.1Scope and Content
Both houses were constructed in the late 1880s, likely by the Paragon Building and Loan Association, on land that was originally marshland, Comings Creek, and later part of a mill pond. Each house is a two-story, wood frame house styled after the Charleston single house, rectangular in plan with a single story piazza.
File contains graduate student report on the history of the houses which includes historical and chain-of-title research, maps, photos, and other supporting documentation (Meg Olson, 2015).
Includes information about the history of Radcliffeborough.
