Restoration of North Elevation of William Hull House (25 Meeting)Entry/Object ID
MEETING.025.1a-jDescription
Ten color photographs of the north elevation of the William Hull House (25 Meeting Street), showing restoration work in progress. Features the ghost of an exterior chimney located to the left of the stairwell windows.
The property received a Carolopolis Award in 1996 for its full restoration, which included exterior stucco, shutter and window repair. All of the stucco was removed on all the elevations (the team found that 80% of the stucco was failing), repointed the weak areas, and repainted the facade. (BVL Preservation Research, 2020.)
