NASSAU.017.1Scope and Content
Constructed ca. 1902. By 1899, Ella Ferira was the owner of the lot containing what is now 17 Nassau, but all records indicate the current house was not on the property. An 1888 Sanborn Map showed that there were no buildings on the lot. However, by 1902, a building appears, likely the house standing today.
File contains graduate student report (Sam Biggers, 2016) on the history of the building/property, which includes historical and chain-of-title research, maps, photos, and other supporting documentation.
