Press, made of yellow pine, most likely in Charleston, South Carolina for Governor Thomas Bennett. Second quarter of 19th century. Press has rectangular molded cornice above two molded and beaded cupboard doors fitted with wooden swivel closure. When open, four stationary shelves are exposed. Molded base on bracket feet. Hole has been knawed in the back panel.Collection
