General Notes

In-House Note

Note

Sometimes spelled Belvedere Plantation. Per Katherine Saunders, 5/6/09: "HCF acquired architectural elements ("pieces") of this building after its demolition, now housed in the warehouse. Also, interiors (cornices, mantels, wainscoting) from Belvedere were used in the construction of a turn-of-the-century building at 40 Rutledge, now a B&B called the Belvedere, and door surrounds, mantels, etc., were installed at the 98 Broad Street restaurant Fast and French." Addendum re: salvaged architectural fragements: Items stored at warehouse were disposed of during warehouse liquidation in 2017. May have gone on loan to area colleges or sold.
