Draft of a Phase I Intensive Cultural Resources Survey. Performed on areas of proposed improvements on the perimeter of the Charleston Executive Airport. Previous assessments indicated a high probability of significant cultural resources to be located within the project alignment and had located several archeological sites, of which two were subsequently placed on the National Register. A total of 16 archaeological sites and 1 archaeological location were located or resurveyed. Seven sites and 1 location are within the project corridor; no standing structures older than 40 years will be affected by construction.
