Scope and Content

Three posters to promote the Nathaniel Russell House: a: "Nathaniel Russell House: Museum Open Daily Year Round." Features photographs of the front of the house and the recamier in the oval drawing room. Possibly the first poster created after the house opened as a museum, 1956. b: "Admission $1.00." Features an illustration of the Nathaniel Russell House created to promote Historic Charleston Foundation's 1957 Festival of Homes poster, with label "Nathaniel Russell House, c. 1809" and a label noting the admission price and hours of operation pasted on. Circa 1960s. c: "Visit the Nathaniel Russell House c. 1808 [and] the Edmundston-Alston House c. 1828-1838." Features a photograph of a drawing room in the Edmonston-Alston House. Possibly created in 1973 after HCF took over the operation of the EA House as a museum.
