Peter Chitry (working, 1814-1832) Vegetable dish, one of four New York 1814/1832 Silver Engraved: EJ; stamped: P. Chitry One of a pair of Silver Vegetable Dishes and Covers Pair of Rectangular Silver Vegetable Dishes with Covers and Detachable Handles, American, Marked P. Chitry (New York, 1814-1832). Both Gadrooned Edge on Sidh, Gadrooning on Covers; Handles Ornamented with Leaves. Each with Four Feet with Shell Ornamentation. Each Dish Engraved with Monogram "Ej" on Side Center. Each Lid and Dish Has a Corresponding Letter Identifying Them As Pairs.
