Maker unknown Baby cap, worn by Nathaniel Russell Middleton 1810/1812 Embroidered baby cap worn by Nathaniel Russell Middleton. Cap is fine linen or silk with hand embroidery and open work with ribbon ties. later mending near center seam. Cap is somewhat yellowed with age and has small holes scattered throughout but most located on crown and along edges.
