From Josh Dukes: The boy is the photo is "my grandfather, Joseph Preacher Dukes (1933-2005). He is standing in front of the home he grew up in at the corner of Anson and Hasell Streets. There was apparently an A&P store there at the time as you can see from the photo. They lived on the second floor of the building and at that time it had huge piazzas and a detached kitchen house off the back."
