Notes

Overall good. Legs appear stable (1960 report indicated that the legs were shaky). Recently refinished by Chisolm Leonard, Jr. who removed the drawer hardware (now inside drawer) and replaced it with pull that is more period appropriate. Surface has been recently waxed and shows fingerprints easily. Minor wear of legs and on surface. Gauges around drawer and proper front edge of apron. Dark stains on top - particularly a stain at far end of top which is 1.5" in lenght. Ring stain on PR leaf. Dark areas near front - PR and middle of PL leaf. Wood surface appears to be very dark.
