Rose border at bottom of box and on the lower band of the lid - pink roses with green leaves on a black ground with brown lines to create the illusion of gross-grain ribbon. Body of box is marbelized - blue ground with yellow, white, red and green veining throughout. Corners of box are delineated with gold lines. Lid has a raised, curved section, with the end pieces painted to look like the cross-section of marble, white interior.Collection
