Samuel Wood (Southgate, 1704-1794) Cruet stand London, England 1749/1750 Silver and glass Silver Cruet Stand with Two Glass Cruets, By Samuel Wood, London, 1749-50. Consisting of a Flat Double Circle Plate on Four Shell Feet with Central Handle. Engraved Cartouche with Coat of Arms. Fiteted with Two Glass Cruets with Silver Covers. Two Silver Wire Rings To Accomodate the Cruet Covers When in Use. Fully Marked on Base.
