Description

Looking Glass, George II Mahogany and Gilt Mahogany Looking Glass, George II, Mahogany and Gilt. 18th or 19th century, the "broken arch" pediment with egg and dart and bead moldings and central plinth with shell carving, above applied floral relief in the tympanum, repeat moldings, and a reeded border surrounding the rectangular mirror glass, with scroll base with shell carving. The quality of design and carving suggests that it is a middle 18th century Period mirror.
