Description

French Empire Sofa, latter 19th century, the reeded square back with bronze dore' mounts of shield cartouches with animals and swans intermittent with six pointed stars, descending to down-scrolling arms with giltwood palm leafage at the leg heads and giltwood leafage on the vase feet, upholstered in striped fabric in shades of borwn, gold and beige.
