"Double Peacock and Peony" pattern. Chinese Export Porcelain. Part of a larger dinner service. Rim with chain border and floral garlands, central vignette of a pair of peacocks, pink peonies, and rocks surrounded by an inner spearhead border in iron red with gilt outline.

some minor scratches. Some tarnishing on bowls, (prior to polishing)
2004.001.004.a: Some pitting in bowl and lip, gilt iw worn away on edge. 2.5" crack on base, pitting on underside of bowl, imperfections in glaze on underside of bowl.
2004.001.004.b: Alot of imperfections in decorated glaze of bowl, some pitting and absence of gilt on rim,; underside has pitting and imperfections in glaze.
2004.001.004.c: Some pitting and imperfections in paint of glaze, gilt is worn around edge. Base is very pitted, large imperfection in base, several imperfections in glaze on underside, small chip on base rim.Relationships
