Argand Lamp, lighting fixture on hexagonal brass base with urn style top. The light socket is at the end of a fluted arm that extends from the middle of the lamp. It has been electrified and the burner has been replaced with a light socket. The lamp is painted in a blackish green paint with polished brass accents. Plaque on arm reads: " MESSENGER & SON

The lamp has an urn on top followed by a froup of varying size rings, accated (?) by polished brass and where arm extends from. This rests on a fluted motif which rests on top of a scalloped foot that rest on a hexagonal base.Collection
