A single board shaped to the form of a banjo clock, supported at top by a double thickness of thin wood strips, nailed horizontally, and two outer vertical wood supports. A bead has been run down the center of the main board and on the sides of the two smaller pieces, suggesting that they may have been scrap pieces in the shop. There is evidence of a reddish-brown stain around the outside edges.
At the shaped end (top) there is a center screw hole and another about 3/4 of the length down the case, possibly used to secure the clock to the brace. A wire hook is attached to the bottom.
There are screw holes at the bottom. Three dowel holes on the reverse side do not benetrate through to the front.Collection
