Description

THIS SOFA IS NOT IN GRANVILLE ROOM. DA 78.5.16 is. Sofa 1815/1835 Empire style, the square back with bronze dore mounts of winged horses, bust heads and anthemia, descending to down scrolling arms with gilt reeding at the hand rests, with additional gilt inlays along the skirt, the back and seat covered in a striped self-welted fabric in shades of brown, gold and beige, on a flatted cabriole form leg.
