Neoclassical silver urn shape hot water urn by John Robins, London, 1787/88. On square base with four ball feet. Beading at base, barse of urn, and top of bowl. Lid with urn shaped finial. Front of bowl engraved with arms surmounted by engraved bird. Motto on ribbin beneath arms "ALTIUS TENDO." Teverse with engraved monogram "TCCK" under "ALTIUS TENDO" motto on ribbon and engraved bird. Reeded handles and spout. Fully hallmarked on underside of base and rim of lid. Kinloch family coat of arms.Collection
